Date: 2004-11-10 02:56 pm (UTC)I did everything I could to voice my protest and distaste for the Iraq invasion until the hour before the first bomb was dropped. Now, I give the boys (and girls) out there every last prayer to win the war as quickly and decisively as possible.
Your reaction to the quote is the proper one, I think. The guy was making a humorous observation, and considering where he is, I afford him a lot of slack for one off-color comment.
