Nov. 23rd, 2004 03:33 pmOK, ready to kill my little sister.
Delaying picking her up last Friday by 2 hours? Annoying, but since she decided to use most of it getting stuff for our grandmother's birthday, I could let it go.
Magically inventing engagements on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday that she wants me to take her to without mentioning them to me until the last minute or after plans had already been made otherwise? Frustrating.
Delaying her pickup Monday night by 2 hours after I was already on the road to go get her, and then telling me I had to pick her up somewhere that was 45 minutes out of my way, plus another hour to actually get back home afterwards? Rather shitty.
Finding out that she has been promising rides to Thanksgiving dinner to people who may or may not have been OK'd by my grandmother (who is being nice enough to host) and not at all telling the person who will actually have to drive these people? Rather alarming and enraging.
Getting a call just now where I was told, "You HAVE to be at the house by 6:30 tonight so I can take my cat to the vet." was pretty much the icing on the cake. Especially since I just realized that there is no fucking way she can pay for the vet visit (and if the Vet's closed, she wants to take the cat to the kitty ER) and probably expects me to pay for this out of pocket from the money I'd saved for
skarlette's visit.
I was originally just going to ask my parents if they'd mind reimbursing me for some of the gas I spent this week.
Now I think this is going to be a bit more serious. Me getting her from City Year and her Americorps stuff was supposed to be doing her a favor. Not being an indentured servant or wallet, and certainly not for her to hide behind when she got caught in lying.
