My prayers are with your beloved, as well as her roommate Richard, and the family of Paulette. The Lord works in mysterious ways, my friend. Grant that we might someday have the wisdom to understand why things like this happen. May you find peace, and may Lisa find the strength and courage she'll need to help Richard and Paulette's family in this time of crisis.

I read with concern your earlier post about the goings-on in Chicago and your thought of finding a tranquilizer gun.
Might I suggest that, instead, you go to Chicago, get an inexpensive room for a few days, and be there to help her with anything she might need, be it emotionally or logistically?

That is very disturbing news and I am sorry that Lisa has to experience this, especially so close to the holidys. Not to mention, how Paulette's family must feel.

I wish there were some magical thing I could do or say to make this a brighter day, but please know that Lisa, Richard, Paulette and her family are in my thoughts and prayers.
