bzarcher: A Sylveon from Pokemon floating in the air, wearing a pair of wingtip glasses (Feather)

You know, for a day that's supposedly the peak of depression for the entire world, I feel really pepped up and chipper.

Yeah, there's something amusingly wrong there.

Also, it seems that we need to hit Alex with a wrench more often: He'd "lost" the manual for the motherboard in Lisa's new PC (we're breadboarding from around the house), and couldn't figure out the model of the motherboard.

One (accidental) hit to the head with a freezer door later, he not only remembered that the model was printed RIGHT NEXT TO THE DIMM SLOT, but that he had the manual in his desk.

Service your gook frequently, ladies and gents - maintinence is critical for proper operation.

Now we just need to get windows on the hard disk, load in the slave drive from Lisa's old PC, pop in her DVD drive, and she's in buisness.

Ok, time for lunch. Ta!

(Note: The proprietor does not reccomend walking around and randomly thwacking Asians on the street. Just the ones who pay part of the rent.)

Yep. Don't ask why I didn't think of that sooner.

Most people tend to use percussive maint as a last resort technique. Sort of like Goku giving himself a hernia to go to yet another Super Saiyajin level, or Sailor Moon going up to Princess Serenity. It's just the last thing you do, and then it all gets blown away.
