Just as long as I don't have to end up dealing with Cyber-zombies or any other nasty junk from it, sure.

Hmm, actually that'll be damned handy even without shadowrun-esque applications.

(Yes, I really am doing work at that scale that might take advantage of it.)

Yeah, I can imagine several different engineering fields drooling about this.

And there was a great disturbance in the force. As if many engineering undergrads just realized "I have to take quantum physics now? Fuck ..."

(Weaklings.)

*giddy*

Oh come on, the people who wrote Shadowrun, had a pretty realistic view of where our technology was headed. Now if only I could figure out a way to bring the magic back. *wicked grin*

I found your comment funny. I'm going to copy it and post it in [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes to share with others who will likely find it equally humorous. I will receive many comments in my inbox about how funny you are, and thus I am making a humble sacrifice on my part. ;)

Do not be surprised if you have new friends on your flist. Ahem.

Ah. Eh, go ahead. It's not like I put anything I'm not willing to have shared in here anyway.

As long as they don't bother inventing the part where the guy who sent us on the Run screws us out of the money.

Because that happened every time.

Consequently I hate Shadowrun.

*laughs* The last game I played, I was working for the guy who screwed a team over. He hired two teams to do one job, the first not knowing about the second. The first completed the job, the second killed the first team, and collected the reward, then I joined the second team. *wicked grins*
