Hmph. Memery!

List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your livejournal along with your seven songs, then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

After going through 8 years of Charles R. Snyder and John Russell choirs, it's a lot harder to NOT have music in your head, so this took a little bit to figure out...

1. Rise - GITS: SAC 2nd gig OST
2. O Come O Come Emmanuel - Robert Shaw Chamber
3. Allon Gay Gay Bergeres - " "
4. Rock Anthem for Saving the World - Halo OST
5. The Angel Gabriel From Heav'n Came - Pick an Episcopaelian choir. Hope the average age of the Soprano section isn't Dead.
6. Christmas Time Is Here - Vince Guaraldi Trio (Charlie Brown Christmas)
7. The Dreams Of Candlelight - TSO

No, I haven't been listening to [livejournal.com profile] snowspinner's Christmas CDs or anything...

Anyhow - rather than picking people (aside from [livejournal.com profile] snowspinner and [livejournal.com profile] dklegman, because I'm curious what's in your music minds, gentlemen), if you happened to GET a copy of Phil's mix, or just feel like it, contribute!

i aboslutely ADORE Gabriel's Message. I did it in high school with the Chapel Singers (....oh my, can you tell I went to a christian girls school?) and I've wanted to do it with a real chorus ever since.
PS In Chorus again this year. Sigh. The chorus itself is actually really good- probably the best collection and mix we've had in a whiiiiiiiiiiile. Russell gets worse every year. I hate him more every time he exists in the same area as I do. It's even worse because someone had the bad idea of having him CONTINUE teaching theory. Well, at least I only have one more semester with him as an actual teacher. Ugh. We did the first half of the Messiah for the xmas concert. So. Boring.

Sorry about the disappointing concert and...well...Russell being Russell.

Oh, I know that feeling -- even after only living NEXT to a Charles R. Snyder choir for four years. XD

Yeah, the band had nothing to do with the music around the place. ;D You were just there to give Olaf an excuse to drive his cart around the fairgrounds.
