Apr. 13th, 2006 10:35 pmYet another season's worth of familial obligations completed. (Though if my dad is sick on Sunday, I may end up taking one more for the team. We'll see.)
Honestly, I felt that by the end of the service I sang fairly poorly, particularly after communion (less than adequate time to warm up due to working almost right up until the service started + alcohol = Bad vocal cords, mmyes), but I guess I was the only one who noticed by the reactions I got.
I feel very exhausted, and I honestly don't want to go back out there again for a good while, but if I have to, I'll try to stick it out and collapse the rest of Sunday to try to recover all of the sleep I haven't gotten for the past few weeks for various reasons.
Work is actually showing signs of positive chaos, for once. Indications of a Night of the Long Knives have been increasing, and the knives may well go into the appropriate backs this time. I'm cautiously hopeful, regardless.
