This switch may be set to GOOD or AWESOME.
May. 4th, 2006 10:29 amSo, people may know that I have been trained as an A+ tech for about the past 3-4 years, but my employers would never send me to actual certification - just to training courses or CBTs over and over, both at my current place of employment and while I was at Wooster.
I kicked this up repeatedly in meetings with my manager until he finally said "Oh, you want to actually get the test, and not just the training!" and agreed that money for the test was included in my training budget.
I beat hardware with socks full of river rocks on Tuesday.
I passed Software with a bit less glory, but still well above a passing grade, this morning. Both sections took less than 30 minutes for me to complete. (80 questions tests, each time, both of which are supposed to take 90-120 minutes.)
I feel rather satisfied, and just a little bit vindicated, now.
