Not a problem.

I like his non-fiction work MUCH better than his fiction. I think he's very good at capturing events (or even researching and laying things out - his Typhoid Mary book is extremely good), but not so much at making it up as he goes along.

I've only read his non-fiction (Kitchen Confidential and A Cook's Tour). Thanks for the heads up on his fiction, I'll probably give one a try if I can find an inexpensive used copy. I'll have to check out his Typhoid Mary book, though.

I'd reccomend looking for Typhoid Mary, his new one The Nasty Bits, and if you want to try the fiction, I thought Gone Bamboo was better than his other mystery/mob collection.
