I hate being sick.
Oct. 24th, 2006 04:20 pmNot just because of the symptoms, but because of how slow my body and mind become. Not being able to think clearly or mustering the mental energy to do things promptly is absolutely frustrating, and I tend to either get very exhausted or very bitchy really easily.
However, at least today, it was kinda good I was sick - the previous owner of the house finally showed up looking for his stuff in the garage. (Not 1 mention of the table, chairs, or other things he left in the house, I noticed. I'm taking that as "Look, they're mine now."
However, he obviously wasn't totally prepared to take all he left - despite claiming job trouble, he showed up in a Caddy CTS, not a truck. He had to fold the seats down to get his golf clubs and several of the coolers he left, and to my surprise, all of the trash cans.
(What kind of sick fuck takes the trash cans? That's almost as bad as the ice cube trays out of the freezer! Odd.)
However, he still left several things, and took the rest of his coolers and stacked them up on the next door neighbor's porch, which confused the heck out of both of us when he came over to ask me if I knew why all those coolers showed up.
I got some new trash cans, and took the containers of waste oil he left from his car and/or lawnmower over to the local Valvoline to get recycled, and then promptly laid back down on the couch and died for a couple of hours.
