I haven't been able to vote yet.

bzarcherI tried to vote. I got a nice confirmation letter that because I didn't update my address until after 9/30, I couldn't vote at the polling place down the road - I'd have to go to my old precinct in Dublin.
I got up early. I went over. I stood in line.
And then I was told that the letter was wrong, and that I would have to go to Hilliard and cast a provisional ballot.
Unfortunately, because of traffic this morning, I had the choice of going to try and vote again, or getting to work on time, so I'll run out at lunch and try this again.
I was not the only person with this problem, at least. I was told by the poll workers that 4 other people had come in with the exact same problem - one even brought his printout from the board of elections webpage saying that he was supposed to vote in Dublin.
Cute, huh?
