We're watching the Stars/Trashers game on Centre Ice.
If the Atlanta arena announcer doesn't have the lamest way of announcing that Atlanta's on the powerplay, it's got to be in the top two.
Thrashers ON THE (pause for 5 seconds) POWERplay!
You're supposed to be pumping the crowd up, not chasing them out, you dip!
It's not even that he had trouble in the booth or something, because I've seen three Dallas penalties, and it's been the same way each time.
Dear god, they can't have recorded that lame-ass, could they? Would someone be so hateful of the fans to record and play that at every game?
*shudder*
