Huuh. I'm consuming.
Nov. 22nd, 2006 06:45 pmI usually am not a "ooo, gonnabuyit" guy when I see a commercial on TV. (I usually get those from seeing my friends mess around with that. :D)
However, watching TV tonight, I saw a commercial with the Orange County Choppers guys building a bike for Lugz boots, and showing the boots off to quite impressive effect.
I actually could use a new pair of nice-ish looking boots that I could wear to work, particularly on bad weather days. Even better, the store on their website is doing free shipping and quite a few "EEE" boots in my size with styles I like.
I don't know if I'm doing it on this upcoming paycheck or not, but I suspect I'll be buying myself a pair of Commander Lo shoes.
The only thing making me a -little- nervous is that they don't have any stores in the Columbus area, but on the other hand, if I order them a little long to compensate for that (13 instead of 12?), I think I ought to be fine.
Alex is on his way back to Philly to see his family (and in fact just called me to bitch about the traffic), and Lisa and I will be going up to Akron in the morning to spend the next day or two with my family.
I wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving with your loved ones, a good long weekend, and a quiet night.
Oh, and don't forget THE ROAD TO TURDUCKEN.
