Not exactly how I planned my night...

Did my best to deliver a Christmas Miracle - I'd rate my success at about 25%, honestly, but I was stuck with no options after doing everything I could short of grabbing a Doctor or Nurse and having someone paged at gunpoint...

Ah, well. We got cookies out of it. (Cafeteria needed to close up, so Alex cut a deal for what they had left.)

On the other hand, I took Alison out to lunch for her birthday, earlier, and that went extremely well, particularly when the waitress at Schmidt's helped me surprise her with a birthday dessert (including candle!) and card, so I have that to feel very good about.
