After a couple weeks of not being able to find copies of Guitar Hero or GHII for Love nor Money, I got lucky today. (Admittedly, in back ackwards fashion, but what's new?)
While running various errands today with Lisa, I decided to check the gamestop near Easton while she was in Barnes & Noble, since God Herself couldn't have found me a parking spot there.
The Gamestop didn't have GH I or II in box set form, but they -did- have the Wireless GHII controller, and a pretty-much-new copy of Guitar Hero. :>
So far I've blitzed through all the basement gig songs all 5 stars except for T-Kiss '65 (a 4 star, but in my defense the solo section that suddenly jumps speed to about twice as fast is a pain in the ass!), and made a decent start on the Pit before my arm started to complain and I called it a night on that. Not bad, especially since I had a rough start with the wireless controller - for some reason until I rebooted it a couple times, it kept locking the yellow and blue frets down and thinking they were in use.
I'm kinda torn, though, for the next step. Do I just go buy the standalone disc for GHII in a paycheck or two, or go for the boxed set so we can have 2 guitars on hand at all times for co-op?
