1 lb. of beef, 1 lb. of country sausage, some onions, green and yellow peppers, diced tomatoes, beans, a couple chopped up anchos, and a few kicks of Pevney's garlic, ground chipotle, ancho, and dried california jalapenos made quite a little thing.
Tomorrow is the public services for Sam. We've all been told we can leave the office to attend - the company's actually going to bus people down there as they wish.
I'm going as much for the personal closure as for my respect for him and his family. I won't pretend we were at all close, but every time I worked on his PC or his phones we tended to chat a bit, and he was always a really nice guy, and a very good boss to work for.
I think anyone at Sterling who met him, even if just for a little while, misses him.
