Well, BotCon weekend is go. The car is at the dealership for 3,000 mile maintinence and getting the airbag light fixed as we speak.

OTOH, I will be leaving Wooster later than expected because I've been asked to help a faculty member with her home network before I take off.

On the other, other hand, I get paid an extra $40 an hour for this. Of course, the later this goes, the later I get to Columbus on Thursday, the less sleep I get. Oh, well.

Oh, and we have a bunch of cub scouts running around here for "Computer Fun Day" all morning, and I get to help with that, too. *wince*

Well, originally she had a Linksys router in her basement for the cable modem, and a little computer "nook", and I swear to god she said "nook", in the basement with Cat-5 running to the router from the 2 computers in it. But then she got her genius son to run Cat-5 up through to their living room (which I haven't seen yet, and I figure he put nails through the cable...), and now they can't get online up there. Gee.

Sounds sorta like my apartment, what with Cat5 running everywhere. And no nails, I've been taught the value of cable ties and adhesive wall anchors. :)
