I had to go back into my journal's archive to find something I wanted to show mscongeniality, earlier tonight.

Since then, I've just been casually scrolling through the last 4 months or so in my journal, reading the comments on some entries, skipping others, generally skimming.

It's like putting my life on replay. It's a little weird, but interesting at the same time.

I post a lot of fluff, then major events (good or bad), then fluff, then quiet, then major events again. Mostly fluff.

Oh, dear lord. I tried tagging, then fell off the bandwagon like a sack of doorknobs. I really don't want to think about going back and trying it again for the entire 4+ years I've had this thing.

That's essentially what I was about to post ... I was tagging stuff from the beginning, came across a really depressing patch, quailed at the thought of another even more depressing patch in the future, and didn't keep going. I've been thinking about taking it up again, though I'm not exactly happy with the thought.

I've been sucked into the black hole that is my archive. Its like watching a train wreck, but I just can't stop myself from clicking "Next entry."

I am so much happier than I used to be.
