I'm sorry for the Indians, but I am kinda glad that it will make the sudden explosion of fair-weather Indians fans around Sterling (who had NEVER worn Tribe stuff around the campus before, over the past 3 years, and then all the sudden it's Tribe central?) go away.

I have this "fairness doctrine" sort of mentality... If a team has won recently and is facing a team that has never BEEN... I root for the team that has never been (unless it's MY team, of course... I'm a weird fan that way).

Then again, I'm tired of the American League coming down to the Yankees and/or the Red sox... *points at icon*

heh. Yeah, I'm far more behind the Rockies at this point myself.

Good luck on the teaching project...maybe just send them down to the Marlies for awhile to get some confidence.

Gill and Kubina? Likely have one-way contracts, meaning they can't *be* sent down.

I'd prefer just trading them and getting rid of them anyway.

Let White, Wozniewski, Kronwall, and Colaiacovo have a shot at things. They're young and fast and stuff.

Then again, maybe I'm just biased. *wry*

Well, I remember Tony Horton.

We lost because our best pitchers couldn't throw their breaking ball for strikes. And they're what got us there. The thing is, this team isn't going away. They'll be back. So I take hope for the future.
