Mulholland said he got his start brewing in college and made beer throughout eight years in the Air Force. He's always been interested in Belgian styles, and so the four beers made there are a double Belgian ale, Double Shocker; a triple Belgian, Le Strange; a Belgian blonde, Beer de Guard; and a hoppy Runkle Red.

Sixteen other microbrews also are on tap, including two Mulholland especially likes: St. Louis Framboise, a Belgian fruit beer, and Original Sin hard cider from New York City.

The microbrewery also offers food.

Oddly enough, I was out with two friends who do homebrew (a couple batches of which were fantastic) on Friday, and the one who lives in Reynoldsburg said he was pretty deeply disappointed by Mulholland, in a way he's not disappointed by Barley's or CBC. He said it tasted a little too much like a hobby.

That said, I'd be game for a scouting expedition some day.

Agreed. This is for Science after all, the advancement of human knowledge. Surely one can travel to Reynoldsburg for that!
