bzarcherSo, like several other fans since the MacLean era, I've always been...skeptical...of Sergei Federov's commitment to the team and the inconsistencies of his effort.
Imagine my shock at what he did yesterday. Concussed and with the team's permission to leave the team a little early for R&R over the all star break, he instead Went into the locker room and put a bounty on the game.
It strikes me quite a bit that the money he put up (which I've heard from a few other people who follow the team was one of those checks that hits the table like a brick) wasn't for "IF" the team won. It was for -WHEN- they won, and the person who got the game winner. I think that says a lot about what he feels about the team this year.
Thanks, Sergei. It look almost 4 years, but you're finally making me believe that you are a part of this team.
