Mar. 2nd, 2008 03:33 pmIn my continued war of apathetic attrition with my maternal grandparents (We'll see who can ignore the other longest!), I decided to spend the $25 which they sent me for my birthday. (No booklet emphasizing how much they wanted me to tithe the entire gift this year, but there was a note of "Don't spend it all in one place!" on the card.)
I spent it all at Meijer, but since I bought a bottle of shampoo in addition to the lego kit I picked up, I suppose technically I didn't spend it all on one thing.
(For all my qualms earlier, I picked up another one of the Mars Mission lego sets, because they're just too freakin' cool.) Playing with Legos remains intensely awesome.
I'm leaving the kits as intended for a bit, but ideas for my own creations are already starting to bubble a bit in my lego hindbrains.
