WOW.

Alex and I went out for "Oh, god, we survived" dinner yesterday - after catching the Mario Batali chefography, I had a serious Italian jones, so we went and tried Salvi's. (It's very, very good - worth a return trip with more people at some point.)

On the way back, I caught both the Pens and Wings games. When I got out of the car, both were tied (1-1 and 2-2, respectively).

From the driveway to the door, the Pens went up 3-1, the Wings went up 3-2, and then not long after the Pens shut the door on the way to a 4-1 win while the Wings collapsed and gave up 3 more goals to the Preds.

I'm seriously shocked about Ottawa's collapse. Not that it isn't filling me with schadenfreude to see the Sens eliminated, and possibly eliminated on HOME ICE, but still. These guys came within 3 games of the Cup last year. How the mighty have fallen.

Minn. / Colorado was also awesome - going to OT yet again! I'll be honest - I'm very much a Wild fan for this series. I want Columbus to get the best possible pick for our purposes from Colorado, and having them at 15th or 16th will achieve that nicely. But it's been a very exciting series, and I'm really interested to see if the Avs come back again, or if the Wild are in position to start rolling.

Salvi's has a really good lunch buffet weekdays (except Monday) that if you can make I highly recommend.

Now just try Moretti's.

I suggested it, but ALex didn't want to drive up to Sawmill. :D

Soon, though.
