Got to see more of the Norwegian side of my grandparents friends / family that I'd never really met. (Being 2 years old doesn't count.) Johannes, Marit, and their youngest son, Lars (14) came through with my grandparents after doing Dayton and the Air Force Museum to have dinner with us on the way back to Akron. It was a really nice meal, with a lot of neat conversation, and serious insistence that I need to come back to Norway sooner or later (preferrably sooner).

I guess that's the next big thing to save for.

Just go in the summer if you can. The arctic circle is near.
