Great article about the owner of some of my favorite places in town.

The fact she's opening a chicago style dog place makes me A) want to try it and B) vaguely curious if Lisa reads the paper and would see it.

Boy, that could be awkward.

Oh, well! Tasty hotdogs > Awkward meetings with Ex.

The hotdog place does sound promising.

MMmhm. Once it opens, I could think of worse things than going down to try it.

Great hot dogs rock!

(for home use the big Hebrew Nationals rock hard-- just add toppings)

As far as seeing an ex there, the timing makes it unlikely. Of course if it does happen, it might be awkward but over time those things get easier.

Me hungry now!

This is true.

Amusing email thing - GMail saw this email, and a thing from my EVE corp about raising some ISK, so it gave me the random newsfeed item of "Make $600 a day with a hot dog cart!"

That's some impressive dog sales right there, man.

I would eat too much of the product. The presence of oinions and kraut plus cold pop would do me in.

I figure you plan for some shrink.

Besides, if you're having to walk or push the cart around every day, that'd help.

Perhaps a Saturday visit is in order. I shouldn't be too expensive

Well, I'll actually be in Cleveland this Saturday.

But another Saturday? Sure!

My old pal Harold LaRue (who also plays in a band with Mike Emanuele, or did) is her partner on this.

I'm excited to hear about it and also excited that it's in the old Queen Bee location so there's a classic downtown restaurant space *staying* in use, much like Tip Top taking over the old Grapevine Cafe. It's opening in... July or August, I think?

There's also supposed to be a new hotdog place in Westerville I've heard raves about but I think it's more topping-oriented and I haven't yet made it up there.

HMmm. Sounds like that could be a fun trip, too.

I'm glad that a lot of downtown seems to be rejuvenating, rather than stagnating.

Mmmmmhotdogs.

Lemme know if/when. I'm planning a walkabout 15-22 June for the purposes of visiting peoples hither and yon (within driving distance). I shall have to remember to have "the real thing" if we plan on checking this place out while I visit with you-alls.

Most of my time is during the week, so could make for awkwardness in scheduling.

I guess it depends on if I'm new jorbbed or not. :D If I'm still at SCI, I'll take a vacation day or two.

If I'm working for the Jackets, I'll figure something out. :D
