Jun. 5th, 2008 10:13 pmTonight's haul:
800 lbs. Quickcrete mix (10 80 lb. bags)
2x4x4' boards for forms.
Nails.
Stakes.
Hi Temperature Paint (3 cans - Forest Green)
Sawzall blades
The barrel stove door, brackets, collars, and dampers also arrived in the mail.
After
flaggerx and I got back from our Home Despot adventure, we prepped the site / garage for tomorrow, where we'll dig, set the form, and get our pour on.
If we're -really- ambitious, we might also mark, drill, and cut the barrels, and perhaps get some paint onto them before the end of the weekend. It'll be fun!

Date: 2008-06-07 12:43 pm (UTC)To be honest, I was kept busy regulating the water for both the concrete and the humans, carrying the concrete bags, hauling away the sod, and going to home depot for more supplies, and safely kept away from screwing up the concrete. :D
