Aug. 7th, 2008 11:21 amThe fact that a multi-million dollar customer support database runs on ACCESS and that they refuse to switch to a better solution despite constantly losing shit, corrupting the tables, or needing daily restores boggles my mind.

Date: 2008-08-07 04:29 pm (UTC)If they really want it to be in a database, I just don't get why we have a full MS Enterprise Agreement and they're not being forced to use SQL! I mean, if we lose customer support data, you'd think we'd be at a risk of losing MONEY, right? Why take chances?
