bzarcherJust made made arrangements for firewood - not just this weekend, but the whole rest of the summer besides. A guy in Westerville wants $125 to deliver a half cord (64 cubic feet), and he's even willing to look at knocking down the dying tree in the front yard for us, too. If he takes care of both for under $300, I consider it a bargain.
Order for the shoulders and ribs is into Carfagnas to pick up Saturday, and I'll probably make a GFS run for extra plates, napkins, still more charcoal, and perhaps a good apron. (Note to self - need to get a Rib Rack, too. Maybe stop @ Lowes or Roush Friday?)
The new seal on the smoker door looks to be working too! The internal temp's actually showing as 105 right now just by the heat trapped in it from being outside. That wasn't happening before because heat was still being lost. Excellent.
