Seems there was one last piece of storm damage - my satellite dish was knocked out of true.

I still have reception on a couple of sats, but I lost about half my channels and almost all my HD feeds. Yuck.

I called Dish, and unfortunately, the first appointment is on...9/30.

They suggested I call back in a day or two to see if anything opens up. When I do, I'm gonna politely ask if, since I will not HAVE my programming for a half of a month, why I should be paying full price.

HOWEVER. We will have a SD feed of the medal round games. I have already arranged for them to be taped.

Well, we wouldn't have gotten to see Voracek anyway. I guess they sent him on to Columbus. Would have been nice to see the rest of the kids though.

On the plus side, I am not paying for Dish this month, it looks like. They're going to credit me from the start of the outage until the resolution.
