One year ago, I'd been having a fairly crazy day, part of a pretty crazy weekend.

I'd flown into Chicopee, MA the night before and driven for five hours until I hit the town in CT where Phil would be getting married. After actually meeting Jenn, the bride to be, I had a very late dinner, an early breakfast, and spent most of the morning and early afternoon driving back and forth between the site of the wedding, the hotel, and the tuxedo shop down the highway to help Phil and Jenn put out the various fires, get our tuxes and shoes fixed after several mixups, take some pictures, oh, and get dressed.

However, in a strange way, all the craziness made the joy I felt at seeing them get married, the excellence of the ceremony and the sweetness of seeing how happy they were together, even better.

Happy anniversary, Jenn and Phil!

Thank you! :) And thank you again for doing all you did for us that weekend, especially with the tux mixups and the like. I know it made for a more frantic weekend than you might have preferred, but it totally saved us. Thank you for that.

I do have to point out, though, that you actually met me two weeks before, at Cara & Dave's wedding. :)

You're very welcome. :)

Like I told Phil at the time - I did come to help out, so I was glad to. :>

Ok, so I met you briefly, but I don't think we actually talked much. Put it down to the truth getting in the way of the better story, there. ;)
