Nov. 26th, 2008 09:24 amThe turkey was pretty much thawed when I got it out of the fridge yesterday and put it into the brine. It's currently brining (with a fair bit of ice) and I'll pull it out of the cooler tomorrow morning, air dry it for about an hour, then rub it down and smoke it.
After that I'll transfer it to a roasting pan to keep warm and run over to my parents' place.
