Dec. 26th, 2008 09:42 pmFailing on what to say here. :) Had this window open for about an hour now.
Christmas was really nice, and had several "oh, whoa" moments at being shocked by presents. All the presents Alex and I picked out for people seemed to go over very well, which is nice.
I'll freely confess to some self interest factoring my answer when my parents asked if Alex would like to get Rock Band 2. ;)
The day after Christmas was mostly spent on getting stuff to work (including fixing my Grandparents computer as much as possible, and calling Dell to get them a new HDD when it became clear that's the root cause), reading, getting stuffed with more food, and a lot of driving in rainy, wet, nasty roads in pitch darkness because my family cannot understand what the phrase "I really think we should try to leave before 3" means.
Oh, well. We're home again, the cats are glad to see us (especially when we gave them their catnip stuffies), the food's put away, the presents are inside, and I'm very glad to be home.
Merry Christmas. :)
