What worse is, under the current CBA rules, if The Jackets signed Dubie, then the Jackets would've been forced to have him clear waivers, and then The Nyisland would've been able to pluck him away.
It's just odd that the team who puts trying to bring in a player from Europe on waivers is not allowed to claim him, even if they are technically higher on the waiver list.
He'd better be good, especially with Pazy's season probably over. We need a decent back up. Sanford's stats were decent, and he was a proven back up. However, I have learned to have faith in Howson's judgement. At least that he knows more about hockey then I do.
