Not exactly better, but the shock's pretty much gone, and I'm mostly just waiting and wondering if I'll get another phone call tonight. Puttering around a bit. Did dishes, took trash out, doing laundry.

I feel kind of dumb for collapsing into all the chores, but it actually does help a bit.
