Something came up the other day that I meant to write down, and kept forgetting.

Magic, Witchcraft and Relgion class: The instructor mentioned that 10 years ago, on the roof of the campus chapel, a group performed a blood sacrifice there.

So much fucked up shit in that part of the campus makes -much- more sense now.

Oh joy...and sadly to say grom what you told me about the place, yes it does. Chicago's history is soaked in blood, do no wonder weird stuff goes down with a regular purpose here.

Just remember one thing.

You should see the building, next you visit. It's makes -so- much damn sense.

However, I reply to the above with one thing.

Hastur.

Ah yes, every aged campus needs it's own spooks. At UD, it was the ghost of Liberty Hall. People throughout the years claimed to have seen ghosts there. (Liberty Hall being the natural place since it's the oldest building on campus, some 140+ years old now.) Some friends of mine tried out an Ouija board in the basement one night and claimed they got someone asking for forgiveness before hearing scratching noises from under the floor.

Well, the University finally decided to do some urban renewal and gutted the place. Nothing special under the basement, or in the walls. As far as I've heard, it's been a rather normal building now that it's back in general use.

And then there's the huge city cemetary that borders the back end of the campus...
