Nov. 23rd, 2002 12:24 pmProductive morning.
Woke up at 8 to get ready for scheduling, showered, shave, etx.
8:30: Leave for scheduling.
8:50: Schedule. One class I wanted (History 301-09: Conservative Politics and America in the 80s), was closed out, but I got the rest of my courses. The result?
Tues./Thurs. 9:30-10:50am History 301-05: Hidden History (TAing) This is a course Karen is teaching and she asked me to TA, it's mainly dealing with gender and race politics in American history, and the successes/failures of showing the contributions of minority groups in that history.
Tues./Thurs. 1-2:20pm English 240-16: Medieval Gossip This is exactly like it sounds. :D However, it was my backup for the history course I couldn't get in, so I may try to get myself on a waiting list for the history course and see if I can swap them.
Tues./Thurs. 2:30-3:50pm English 250-01: Digital Aesthetics and the Literary Experience This is that team-taught course I mentioned. Should be fun. I'm looking forward to it, especially since it may involve constructing some form of MU* environment as part of a project.
Friday 3-3:30pm History 452-02: Senior Independent Study Thesis Weekly thesis meeting/advising with Karen.
What does this mean for my work schedule? Heh. Well, here's what I have in mind so far.
Monday: 10-12, 1-5
Tuesday: 11-12 (Staff meeting)
Wednesday: 10-12, 1-4 (Maybe 5. We'll see. :D)
Friday: 10-12, 1-3
Short version? Productive and happy Matt, hopefully. :D This will actually be my first semester without any 'writing intensive' courses.
After scheduling, finished my research paper revisions, revised the portfolio paper I wanted to get done for the same class, and looking at cracking open some I.S.
Or I could get lunch. We'll see.
