Nov. 24th, 2002 05:23 pmThat's....odd.
I just saw the news. They showed shots of the riots down at OSU last night.
I know those places. I know who used to live in some of those houses. I think I even recognized a partly burnt-out car.
Wierd.

Date: 2002-11-25 02:06 am (UTC)They're not necessarily fans--- but given the general population in that area, I'm willing to bet that a significant percentage ARE students.
I like the discussions on the news: any student caught in a riot? suspend for a year + any charges. nonstudents? criminal charges + being barred from enrolling for a year.
I will say this-- OSU fans are generally easier for me to tolerate than Notre Dame fans, because most ND fans that I've seen end their support after football season...

And I will agree on the ND fans. I know one guy who claims to be a devout fan, yet the only time he even wears their colors or talks about it is usually around the time they play OSU or a bowl game.
