skarlette. Sorry I didn't stay on IMer, but I got yelled at for using that, too. :/ Frustrating.
Irony is someone who claims to be an IT professional yelling at a certified technician (not to mention that the techie is his son) for running a JAVA applet and screaming about 'installing shit'. Even better is him going into a fury about me putting a copy of simpleMU on the old machine {which is still hooked up because after going on such a spiel about getting this new Dell and cable modem, he 'doesn't feel like' turning it on yet. He's not even transferring files between the two machines, he just intends to phyiscally move this one somewhere and do something with the modem. But it's too much effort to turn it on and choose a windows XP password, neh? He's been promising he'd get it going for mom, too. Funny.}, on a drive partition that's labled 'Matthew's stuff and programs', because I'm 'fucking with his machine'.
Oh, well.demeterschild is coming down through here, and offered to take me out for a bit. It'll help. She'll be here in about 20 minutes or so. And I spent an hour in my room alternating between reading and crying to keep from just letting my temper go at him and mom. And I got to at least see and talk to my beloved. She makes the rest of this seem small.
Edit: Oh, yeah, and nothing like my Aunt seeing the DVD player I got yesterday, and implying I was using my thesis as an excuse to milk money out of my parents, and lying about actually needing it. You. Stupid. Bitch.
