The Good, the Bad, and The Icy.

So. A lot of things have happened.

So. I'll start from the top.

Alison just snuck back downstairs to give me a hug, and thank me for it all, and told me how much it meant to her and to mom that I came home and did everything I did, including singing in the choir. (This is particularly because Alison knows I am not a Christian.)

I think I'm getting a handle on the whole 'holidays' thing.
I think things are gonna be okay.
I think I maybe just got a lot of myself fixed from this morning's trauma.

I think that's the best christmas present anyone could ask for.

To everyone that's reading this...even if I don't know you that well:

Merry Christmas, Bright Blessings, and thank you for being here for me.

It's been a long time coming...but I think a lot of healing inside of me is finally taking hold.

1337. Depending on what the Christmas day haul turns out to be... (We wait to open things until everyone's hear, which is likely to be noon or later), well, wheee!

And...a little wooden plate.

Why is the plate important? Because my mom's biological mother (deceased), carved, lacquered, and painted it a year before her death.

I'm actually quite touched.

Oh. And I also got $175 to spend in cash, but I suspect I will save that for Chicago, mostly. (Okay, so I think I may go out and get Unreal Tournament 2k3...)

Not bad at all, really. And people were happy, and my dad actually blushed and apologized -again- when he got to the camera.

Christmas miracles, indeed. (And hey, my Aunt didn't ever show up, which is a present in itself...)

So. Now we cook dinner.

Dear god, but this space lamp is phallic.

Dinner's gonna be soon, and things are looking remarkably good.

Looking forward to watching the extended FOTR later tonight, and fixing my one PC speaker with the cut wire. (Granpa brought his sodering kit.)
