In response to a trend.

I need to note for those XME players who have been adding this journal to their IC characters that this is /not/ Chamber's IC journal. In fact, he doesn't have an IC journal. :D

This is his player's journal, and though I do now and again make IC entries for him in here if I have the urge to write, it's not my primary writing. Most of this is the maddened ravings of your average recent college graduate forced into the big wide world, so be warned, and leave now if that's not what you want.

Um.

So.

After several cancelations today and yesterday, I gotta wonder if anyone's coming to the graduation party I sent all those inviations out about.

It's here by the way.

As it is...it looks like it'll be 8 or 9 hours with my family, a lot of food, and a tent.

I know it's not anyone's fault. I even agree with a couple of the reasons that people can't make it. (An interview for a new, much higher paying job is a good reason.)

But I feel quite alone.

I'm starting to consider leaving Wooster after this year. I love the job. I love the people here...

but I'm so damn tired of being so isolated from the people I care about. Nobody comes here. I can't entirely blame them. But I'm almost always shoehorned into people's schedules, and it takes me days of planning to get a chance to go out and see them.

So. Chicago?

Columbus?

Cleveland?

Anywhere?
