The World Turned Upside Down

So right now, an Iraqi cleric is calling for a democratically elected government.

While the U.S. Government is not only holding people without charges, legal access, or a writ of habeas corpus, but sending them to lovely places like Syria, where torture is still a fun police tool, even if they just have the wrong passport, and just happen to be passing through.

I suspect in the long term, the concept of 'American Freedom' is going to be dead. In the short term the sense of Personal Freedom may just die first.

Wow. I'm really freakin' tired.

I left MUSHes and such an hour ago, though I'd relax and see if I got some energy back, and now all I want to do is go to bed.
