I cannot tell you how much I hate the custom letter/paper sizes that our Alumni offices use, because of all the hooplah it takes to get their printing set up correctly when they get a new machine or one comes back from maintinence.

And really, who WANTS to read things on 3.5" x 6.5" paper? Really? Anyone?

I thought not.

In other news, if the weather keeps getting worse my boss said she was going to probably send us home early sometime today.

Mwahahahah.

Past that, it seems I'll be going home through freezing rain, sleet, ice pellets, and eventually snow. Huzzah.

Well, when the boss orders you to get the hell out because the weather's gone to hell, you do so. On my way home, though, I got tailgated and nearly sideswiped by a gent in a blue car.

A blue car that happened to have a Papa John's lightbar, and I got his plates.

1 call to the Papa John's later, following a chat with his manager, I get to feel the warm fuzzy glow of righteous vengance.

The realization that as I lose weight, I look less like Meat Loaf and more like a young Nathan Lane is a bit disturbing. Yet funny.

And I'll kneecap the first one of you who says anything about The Birdcage.

The quiet and rewarding hour and a half I spent on the phone with Lisa set the tone for tonight. After that, I excercised, felt pretty mellow, and relaxed. Did some reading and a bit of KOTOR, and I think I'm gonna go to bed early for the first time in forever.

It feels good. Quiet, warm, and good.
