I woke up last night to spend time with Lisa, and it helped a lot. Woke up feeling a bit sleep-depping this morning, but otherwise OK.

And as I've gone through today at work, I've felt progressively better, and I've been making really good progress on the queue. (Outstanding tickets are now lower than they've been for 2 months before I was hired!)

A job you're good at and a woman who you love, and returns that love even more, are apparently all I really need to feel good.

That's pretty cool, really.

Going to call Alex at lunch and see how he's doing with the credit stuff.

I think my hair is going to be staying short for awhile.

I was thinking about a hair cut (probably next weekend) and realized that of my co-workers, I know of only one male (the UNIX/DBA admin) who has hair that is in any way long. Right now it's not too bad, but it could stand some trim. And though I know Sterling and APT don't officially ask you to keep it short...

Well, every little bit towards getting full time helps.

Also: Heidi ended up walking into the office to hear me taking a call that I resolved successfully. Not why she came in, but not bad to have your boss hearing you do your job well!

Townhouse update:

Alex has gotten it straightened out. He had to pay some fees (mostly for the court stuff, I think), which had to be sent on paper since they don't take electronic over the phone, but he's expressing it, so I'd bet they have it late Friday/Early Monday. They will be faxing Perimeter and the credit bureau as soon as they recieve it.

Perimeter has given us a conditional go-ahead after talking to the courthouse, with the final approval pending that fax. As it is, they will cash my deposit check and we'll probably be signing the lease sometime mid-week. If they recind the approval for some reason, I will be refunded all $100.

Away we go!
