After two and a half hours of the phone being at solid red, it finally stopped ringing.

Someone poured an exceptional amount of stupid into all the remote users and work at homes. That's all we've been getting calls from. And we can't remote in, it's all blind, and they're...

I spent 10 minutes having to explain Drag and Drop.

TEN. MINUTES. I was trying to talk the guy through it, resorting to actually telling him not to move his damned fingers.

Fucking kill me.

Things old are new again.

Lisa found an X-men place she wants to play at with me, after she got her feet wet there, so I'm prepping a character for after I get my PC (one way or another) back.

For once, I'm even doing an OC, and I'm actually pretty excited about it. Lisa and I worked out the background together, and I'm letting her write the desc, since she's much better at that than I am. (And of course, I left it at home...)

But...here we are. I'm just hoping that things stay calm enough that I can play. :D (And that it doesn't end up losing to CoH, once I get that back!)

Work finally slowed down around 1:30, and that's when I started writing this from the bits and pieces that Lisa and I had skull-sessioned on. I'm pretty happy with this, but I'm going to polish it a bit until we're ready to send.

Oy, what a day.

So, after that asstastic day at work, Alex and I decided to go out for dinner to Outback. Red meat and being treated like a king seemed good. Steaks and beers were good. Also stopped at a nearby Toyota dealership and learned a bit about the Scion tC and the new Matrix. Not sure I'll do either any time soon, especially since they won't roll negative equity onto Scions, it's trade for cash or nothing. But I learned a good bit, and the guy was good enough about it all.

But, the best thing turned out to be skarlette, as usual, but also an unexpected package....from narel! She went to Vegas, and I joked about her sending me a present...and she did!

It's a little case of mini-poker chips! Soooo cute! So cool!
