Was the budget surplus a fairly liquid one? Absolutely.
But calling the economic downturn and rising deficit a myth? Christ, what a fucking moron.
Apparently a Bush staffer on CNN was asked about it and mumbled 'we just lost Ohio.'
Probably not that extreme, but I bet the race here just got a bit more exciting than they'd like.
