The Long Dark Night of the Somethingorother

Back at work, and today went well, for the most part.

However, I have to move our team's software/files/backup shares between data centers now, and it's not a -physical- move, so I'm limited by just how much bandwidth I can chew at any given time.

Right now...I expect to be leaving around the time the rest of the team gets back.

Sadly, I can't just go in and prune out stuff we don't use / don't need / really ought to ditch for liability reasons because my orders are, in writing, to move the data -exactly as is-, to be screened, archived, and cleaned later.

Oh, well.

1 hour to go. 1 hour to go and I think I should be able to go home. Yaay!

I'm listening to XM Comedy, as even if it's not always funny, it's people -talking-, which helps keep me awake a lot better than music will.

Sadly, I am reaching the point where Dane Cook is funny. I'm a little worried about that.

Oh, well.

I'm probably going to come in for about a half day tomorrow, collect a bit of OT, and go home surrounded by dancing girls and flowers. It'll be awesome.
