Q: What does Mike Commodore do with a few days between games in Florida this time of year? It could be dangerous, no?
A: I don't really have any plans. Where the Panthers play there is nothing to do out there. The only thing there is an outlet mall. Now in Tampa, I know a few people down there so I might hook up with them. But because the Blue Jackets are in the middle of a playoff hunt and need to win some games I will avoid the beach. No spring beach for me.
(At this moment Jan Hejda interrupts to remind Commodore of plans to run on the beach)
Well, we might run on the beach right through spring break.
Q: The afro is really coming in nicely. As a teenager I had something similar. Doesn't it get itchy with all that hair this time of year?
A: It gets itchy in the mornings a little bit and it does get hot. To be honest, I don't look that good in it. It's one of the sacrifices I make for the team. Females, if they do like me, prefer me with shorter hair. I go from a 6 in their eyes to a 3. Well, maybe a 6 is a little generous.
