MMm. Stuffed.

Went out with [livejournal.com profile] demeterschild and did some holiday shopping, sold my old games for some cash, traded a few that they would not pay cash for to get Castlevania:COTM and the Clan Mechs expansion pack for MW4, got a hands-free headset for my phone for $5 on sale, was given more tea as a gift, got some pocky, and a small, dainty pack of jellybeans.

...okay, so we did a fair bit.

I have to admit, I'm already in love with the hands free kit, though I wish the earbud was a little more comfortable. After having it in for about 3 hours, my ear was feeling painfully stretched, and taking it out was a relief. I suppose it's just one more step to becoming a Stephensonesque Gargoyle, as the idea of being inherently online without too much obstructing equipment appeals to me.

World Market is increasingly neato. I think, in the semi-distant future when I will need to furnish some form of apartment, I may see what I can do between office furniture from Staples and more esoteric stuff/cookware/plates/etx. from World Market, to say nothing of acquiring large amounts of tea and such.

Once I finally came back to my Grandparents, I was stuffed full of pasta and told to go relax, so here I am.

I leave for Pittsburgh Tuesday morning, still haven't decided when I will return to Columbus exactly, but I'm watching the weather. If incoming storms behave as they seem to, my hand may be forced for a mid-Wednesday departure.

Making notes here: Must get [livejournal.com profile] jwhorfin down to Columbus to hang.

Must confirm the 29th to get together with [livejournal.com profile] procyon8, [livejournal.com profile] heatherbeast, [livejournal.com profile] spiralpegasus, et al. Following that meeting, provided I can actually get ahold of Steve and plan this, head to Dayton, spend a few days celebrating the holidays with him so he can actually see friends, make him my trademarked cheese and sausage balls, and then go back to Columbus and prepare for the Chicago trip.

We're getting there. We are.

Right now, I'd walk to Columbus barefoot. I'm going to kill these motherfuckers if I don't spend a lot of time away from them.

Well, shit.

In that case, want to take a day tomorrow and come by here at my Grandparents, and then Columbus after I get back? I'm on OH-93, near Canal Fulton, with good access to both I-76 and I-277/77 for you to come down on.

The 29th, eh? It'll be just me as [livejournal.com profile] doomflower goes back to the office on the 30th, but that starts to sound like a plan.

Oh, and if you happen to be in the vicinity of NE Ohio during this break feel free to stop by here too. [livejournal.com profile] doomflower wants you to come. You must obey!

Sounds like a deal, then. :D

As to NE Ohio, well, we'll see how it all works out. ;D

I'm paying attention

Okay, my question is about COTM - how do you see the blasted screen? I think 5 minutes of gameboy advance hurt my eyes worse than 20+ years of computer use and 15-odd minutes of stabbing with sharp objects.

Simple. I bought a lighting kit for my GBA. (External, tho. I did not feel the self 1337 for an internal mod) ^^;;
