Date: 2003-01-31 06:23 am (UTC)My son, first grade, October: Witches do NOT have green skin and warts. My mom's a witch and she's pretty!
I had to explain to the teacher that my son was not insulting me ... but the cool thing was that she said she's be sure to point out that it was actually a special holiday not just a candy-getting one to the class and she let him give a talk in December about the Solstice.
