Work really knocked the snot out of me, but I got through it, and was treated to dinner by Mom and Alison to make up for it. Then met Granda and Granma to go see the College's production of Twelfth Night, which had some...interesting alterations that I think made a really cool production. First Quarto text, with more modern music in place of many of the madrigals (to quite devastating effect), and costumes mixing 1770's style with modern...rather extreme...dress.

skarlette: Lex would have -LOVED- Anne's costume designs. Mix Dangerous Liasons, Rocky Horror, Modern Clubbing, PVC, Corsets, Leather, Shimmering, Panties, Boxers, Dresses missing things like fronts or backs, and lots and lots of sexy grrls in sexy outfits. Will give more details later. ;D)
Then went to dessert with everyone. Talked a bit about the incipient family vacation. (Oy!) Then was given a new pair of walking shoes by Granma that Mom actually had them order as one of my Birthday presents, got juice and stuff, and to top it all off, G&G took my laundry with them, to be returned Tuesday or Weds, cleaned.
My family, when my Dad is not involved, are amazing.
And I know Dad tries. He just has several things that makes he and I utterly incompatible. And leads to us fighting. And when we fight it's nasty. And we fight a lot.
So...yeah.
